Oh Meredith! (OhM! for short) is the latest reincarnation of the international duo comprised of Shawn O’Brien, grand master rhythm ranger, beat proctor, and cymbalist, and Brian Tell, spidery string spinner, plectrum plucker, and chord cutter. The pair met in the Reagan-Orwell year of 1984 in the outer limits of metro-Detroit suburbia. Over a span of decades they achieved a satisfyingly successful career completely out of the public spotlight, composing and recording dozens of dangerously anti-normal songs and instrumentals under various guises including: Profiles, Gentleman of the Jury, Counting Sheep, Bi Bim Bop, Snowpants, and Johnny Jo and Ted Tedd.

Now super-positioning in time and space between Quebec City and Ypsilanti, Oh Meredith! is pleased to present this first batch of thought-forever-lost but recently-found cassette master tapes of some of the duo’s early career, never-released top-40 anti-hits from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. According to Swami Sven the Waiter, Oh Meredith! is the purest expression he has ever heard from the Great Lakes Cartoon Grunge Jazz Chakra tradition. Meditate on this first batch of OhM!
